The Academy will be held at The Infinity Center, 641 W Nocturne Drive, 37207, near Whites Creek Pike & W. Trinity Lane.
INSTRUCTIONAL AREAS:
Acting, Oral Interpretation, Public Speaking, Dance and Movement, Music, Creative Writing, and Visual Art.
PERFORMANCES:
A Program-culminating Extravaganza featuring the youth of the academy showcasing their evolved talents.

What distinguishes our nationally-recognized program from other “summer camps” is our intensive and innovative approach to holistically developing your child’s natural gifts through instruction from professional artists who are successful in their industries and teach from practical experience instead of just books. Our instructors are Working Professional Actors, Writers, Dancers and Musicians, including:
Kenetha Carr (
Executive Director, Acting Instructor), playwright, director, actress, former MNPS instructor, and star of the television special “Sho’ ‘Nuff Nativity,” and "Before The People Came" national tour.
Vera Warrick (
Vocal Music), professional singer, vocal coach for American Idol, and youth artistic director.
Michael Mucker (
Visual Art), Internationally known visual artist, graphic and animation designer, and instructor in the Amun Ra Theatre Performing ARTs Academy.
Shabaz Ujima (
Dance and Movement) professional dancer, instructor with the Nashville Ballet, and founder of the Shackled Feet Dance Company.
Andrew Mcfadyen-Ketchum (
Creative Writing), published author, poet, and Masters level instructor.
Guest Instructors and Speakers to include professional movie and stage actors, recording artists, grammy-nominated songwriters, and professional directors and producers. If your child is serious about developing their artistic gifts to the fullest, this program is for them.
* There are a limited number of spots available for this nationally-recognized academy, founded by the award-winning Producer/Director and Media Scientist, Dr. jeff obafemi carr. Please fill out the registration form below to reserve your child's seat in the program.
Currently we are unable to accomodate children with special needs that would require additional supervisory personnel. All parents must sign an agreement to attend an orientation to stay engaged with staff throughout the summer. Students must also audition to assess where they are artisically.
